Fiji COVID-19 Emergency Appeal

Help ease the COVID-19 crisis in Fiji

Youthworks Year 13 and Anglican Aid are partnering together to support Fiji villages being hit hard by COVID-19, by supplying immediate food needs and other essential items. Our Fijian brother and sisters have been in close contact with Year 13 students over the years, and now they urgently need your support.

Fiji is being hit hard by COVID-19. The combination of surging case numbers, and the restrictions being enforced to contain the spread, is devastating the livelihoods of the brothers and sisters we know and love. With loss of income, businesses struggling to survive, and in places restrictions of movement and activities, people are struggling to make ends meet and even secure enough food.

Fiji is a nation in crisis; food relief and essential supplies are urgently needed, today.

This is your opportunity to help our Fijian brothers and sisters

With your help, Year 13 in partnership with Anglican Aid is seeking to raise $50,000, to meet the critical food needs of our friends in ten villages for the next six months.

Please help by making a donation through Anglican Aid today.

  • Your gift of $50 will provide a family in need with one food pack*

  • Your gift of $100 will provide two families in need with food packs

  • Your gift of $150 will provide three families in need with food packs

Your gift will be tax-deductible, which might mean you can give a little bit extra. You can also give monthly for each of the next six months.

Thank you so much for your support!

*Food packs typically include 10kg rice, 4kg flour, four tinned fish, and 1kg split peas, two packs of breakfast crackers, tea leaves, a packet of milk, and a bottle of oil, depending on available supplies.

IMPORTANT NOTE: This project is in partnership with Anglican Aid. Tax-deductible receipts will be issued by the Overseas Development Fund (ABN 59 792 865 372) operated by Anglican Aid.
